WHAT DO WE SELL?

At Cake Tin we specialise in NY inspired Chunky Cookies which are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside.  Our cookie are huge and weigh 5-ounce each. 

 

WHAT FLAVOURS DO WE SELL?

We currently sell five flavours:

Chocolate Chip Walnut

Fruity Oatmeal

Biscoff

Almond Cherry

Triple Chocolate Chip

 

WHERE DO WE DELIVER?

We deliver our cookies nationwide including England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.  

 

WHO DELIVERS THE COOKIES AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

All orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 which aim for next day delivery, but it is not guaranteed.  Once your order is dispatched you will receive a text/email containing your parcel tracking details.

 

HOW MUCH DOES THE DELIVERY COST?

A flat rate of £5.00 is charged at checkout.

 

WHEN WILL THE COOKIES BE POSTED? 

All orders placed during the week (Monday to Sunday) are dispatched the following week on Thursday for next day delivery.  Delivery date is selected at checkout.  

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM NOT HOME TO RECEIVE MY DELIVERY?

It is the customers responsibility to ensure there is someone at the address to accept the delivery.  The cookie box will not fit through a letter box therefore we cannot accept responsibility for late or missed delivery.  The courier may leave the parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour if you have arranged.  All orders are packaged in a sealed mailer bag for safe transport; however, Cake Tin cannot be held responsible for a package if the recipient is not present to receive the order.

 

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER? 

Unfortunately, not.  We are unable to make changes to flavours, box sizes, delivery dates or address.  When ordering it is the customers responsibility to ensure the correct address and contact details are supplied.   

 

DO YOU OFFER LOCAL BRISTOL DELIVERY?

We are currently delivering within selected postcodes.  At checkout select local delivery and enter your postcode to see if you are eligible.  

A standard delivery charge of £5.00 is applied.  Bristol deliveries are made on Friday.  

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY ORDER HAS NOT ARRIVED?

If your order has not arrived by Saturday, please get in touch via email info@caketin.co.uk

PLEASE NOTE:  Cake Tin CANNOT accept any responsibility for missed deliveries due to insufficient or incorrect information supplied, or because there was no one to accept the delivery.  

 

RETURNS OR REFUNDS

All our bakes are made in house, by hand. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot be responsible for how they are transported and stored once they leave our shop.  Therefore, we do not accept returns. 

A replacement order to the same value will be given only if you receive the incorrect product, or if the products are shown to be of unsatisfactory quality.  

If you are unsatisfied with the condition or quality of your postal bakes upon arrival, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt.  Cake Tin will not accept liability for any complaints made after this time. While we take great care to package our products securely for postal delivery, on rare occasions breakages and damage can occur in transit. This will not warrant a refund.

There are certain situations where partial refunds are granted. This will be at the discretion of Cake Tin.
